Event Description:

October 20th marks the 22nd Annual L.A. Cancer Challenge 5K Walk/Run (LACC), the signature fundraising event of the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Held on the beautiful campus of UCLA, where much of the foundation’s research is conducted, So Cal’s best Halloween-themed fitness event includes a Fit Family Expo with food & beverage booths, activity tents, music, a Candyland Kids Zone and more.  At the heart of the LACC, which has raised over $8.3 million to date, is to unite generations, young and old, through physical fitness to create public awareness and raise much-needed funds for pancreatic cancer research.  The LACC brings the cancer community together to shine a light on this disease and honor loved ones.  Registration starts at $45 (adults) and $25 (youth 11 and younger) which includes a Chip Timed Event, T-Shirt and Custom Running Bib.
