Kim Petras is performing at LA Pride this June, but first, she stopped by the SoCal Honda Sound Stage at AMP Radio to tell McCabe all about her anthem for all hopeless romantics.

“’Heart To Break,’ it’s like love suicide," Petras said. "I know this is gonna hurt and it’s gonna screw me up. I’m gonna be heartbroken over you for a long time, but anyways, nobody can do it better than you. It’s kind of just me jumping into toxic relationships with a smile because that’s my life!”

Petras' track may be a shout out to all the broken hearts out there, but the retro beat is undeniably catchy and danceable.

"I love nostalgic pop music," she explained. "The 80’s especially, to me, is the greatest era of songs. I just love the 80’s so much."
