Victoria Hesketh is known as Little Boots in the UK and is soon to make a big splash here in the States.  She sings, plays synthesizers, the Yamaha tenori-on and the stylophone. She was the former lead singer/synth player in Dead Disco before leaving the band in 2007 for a solo career.

When she was 18, Little Boots was a contestant on the television talent show Pop Idol, but was eliminated after three rounds. She formed a jazz trio, went on tour in Europe with a big band then form Dead Disco.  Her solo stage name comes from a nickname given to her by a friend after watching Caligula, which is Latin for “little boots.”

She released her debut album Hands in 2009 and released an EP in the U.S. called Illuminations.

Heidi Montag is seriously off her rocker. Following her 10 surgery stunt, we have learned that she has dumped her former manager, hubby Spencer Pratt and has hired a psychic. Everyone: Meet Kid Sister; some people know her as Kanye West’s protégé, but I heard about her when she came out to Echo Park a few months ago.

 I was immediately hooked when I heard “Right Hand Hi” from her album Ultraviolet. Just to put the song in context: This is one of the songs I listen to when getting ready to start my weekend and I actually use the song as a tool to pump up my friends as we make our way to the club. After my initial introduction to Kid Sister I started looking into her music, which is when I discovered her song “Pro Nails” featuring Kanye West. If you think “Right Hand Hi” is catchy, wait till you hear Kid Sister rapping about getting her nails did!

Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco is the 17-year-old singing sensation from the Philippines discovered by David “The Hit Man” Foster.  She started singing when she was 7 when her mother, also a singer, discovered her talent.  Her mother acted as her vocal coach helping Charice win many local singing competitions including “Little Big Star,” similar to American Idol.

She started getting national attention when she appeared on Ellen and Oprah, instantly making her an international celebrity.  Her current single “Pyramid” features Iyaz and is increasing in popularity among AMP listeners.

There was a lot of excitement at AMP’s Switch Party yesterday at Knott’s Berry Farm.  There was so much excitement over the New Boyz in fact, that screaming fans followed them after their performance! Luckily, we had someone recording the fandamonium, watch what happened!

A huge group of fans chased after the New Boyz after they performed at our Switch Party, hoping to get autographs and talk to the guys.  There was someone behind the scenes recording the whole craze.

If you’re reading this and you’re behind bars at Rikers Island, I suggest you read this before you ask Lil Wayne for an autograph. A representative for the Correction Officer’s Benevolent Association stated that officials issued a no autograph mandate because “Lil Wayne is not a celebrity in here.”

We also found out, that Weezy will not be getting any special treatment while he enjoys his stay that Rikers Island. Although I’m sure there are a lot of inmates just wanting to get a glimpse of Mr. Carter.

We hope that he will be on his best behavior so he can get out quick. His lawyer mentioned that if it all works out, we can see him being released in eight months. I have to say, I’m curious to see what kind of songs he’ll be writing in prison.
