Kanye West‘s protégé Kid Cudi was arrested on criminal charges Friday afternoon in New York. This is not the first time the rapper had a run-in with the law either. Following a magazine shoot in Los Angeles last year, Cudi was held at gunpoint by police trying to secure the premise after residents complained of looting, but was later released due to mistaken identity.
