Britney’s VMA comeback outfit may help Haiti make a comeback as well.

Britney Spears went through a couple of rough years, and when she surfaced with a new body and new attitude on the 2008 MTV VMA’s, the outfits said it all! Now it seems that Britney is ready to part with one of those two hot silver dresses and auction it off with the proceeds going to Haiti relief. Before she could perform her selfless act she had to run it by the judge. Sad but true!

The pop singer was in court to discuss the status of the conservatorship under her father, Jamie, that has been in place for two years. The pulsing matter at hand was to help Haiti and Britney Spears was granted permission by a judge to auction off the dress. Hurray for Brit Brit!, so nice of her to give away her comeback dress! “Britney is very enthusiastic about making a donation to the cause,” Radar Online quoted the 28-year-old singer’s attorney as saying.

We are unsure which of the two dresses she we will be auctioning off  since she had an outfit changes at the VMA’s but both of them made her body look bangin’. It is still unknown where and when the auction will take place as well as what charity in particular will the money go to. But AMP is sure to keep you posted!

Rihanna has revamped her career and is excited to broaden her horizon. The ‘Hard’ singer Rihanna is hardcore enough to work with David Guetta, release a new video, and writing a new book. This girl is on fire. Rihanna won the hearts over millions this weekend with her fiery performances at the Pepsi Fan Jam. At the 2010 NRJ Music Awards, David Guetta said that he will collaborating with an international superstar, but didn’t want to say who. However, he confirmed to Le Grand Journal that he was talking about Rihanna!

Although he didn’t go into specifics we are sure this might be a track for a David Guetta project, especially since the DJ has been producing for a lot more superstars. He has already been booked to work on the new Britney Spears and Madonna albums.

In the meantime Rihanna still has several Rated R related things in the pipeline, including the albums official tour, and the new single “Rude Boy.” It is slated that the video for “Rude Boy” will be debuted on VEVO this Thursday. RihannaDaily.com released pictures of the singer on set of her video with a green screen behind her, so who knows what the look of the video will be. But the outfits from the pics are hot!

She’s even working on her upcoming book titled Rihanna: The Last Girl on Earth which is set to release in June.

The Brit Awards happened earlier this week, and no its not the Britney Spears Awards its the British Awards! Lady Gaga went big and sang for her late friend Alexander McQueen, while Jay-Z and Alicia Keysbrought the ‘Empire State Of Mind‘ clear across the world.

The Brit Awards are equivalent to the Grammy’s. The event was held in London and even the people in Europe look forward to seeing the entertainers walk the red carpet and pick up their awards. Jay-Z and Alicia Keys took the stage at the 30th Annual Brit Awards performing ‘Empire State of Mind’, bringing the house down. Jay-Z also picked up an award, for Best International Male Artist.

Lady Gaga never seems to amaze us! With her hair looking 4 ft tall and a laced white masked, she also stunned the audience with winning the first three awards that she was nominated for. Accepting the Brit for Best International Album for The Fame, Gaga took the podium saying:

I was really excited to win the first two awards. This award means even more to me because I worked so hard on this album for so long.

She also accepted the award for Best International Breakthrough Act, and you can tell in her voice that she was choked up about her late designer friend, “Thank you to Lee McQueen,” she said, using the lobster-boot-fashioning icon’s real first name.

Lady Gaga also left the building having been named Best International Female. She amazingly walked home with three awards and dedicated her performance to Alexander McQueen. All in all I would have to say it was a great night for Miss Lady Gaga!

Ke$ha called Britney Spears‘ decision to LIP SYNC in concert, “Bulls***.”  Ooh Girl, thems fighting words!

The “Blah Blah Blah” singer continued by saying, “I don’t think that’s fair at all for people who are going to see the show. I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance.”

She went on to say:

It’s treating people as if they are too stupid to realize you are not actually singing.  Sometimes it is hard to sing and dance at the same time but I would rather be off and be real and genuine about it to my fans. I don’t want to treat my fans like they are stupid.

Yes it is true! Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul is finalizing a deal to host a new version of Star Search, the old ’80s talent show hosted by the late Ed McMahon. Also check out videos of a very young Britney Spears and Cristina Aguilera when they were on the original Star Search.

Slated for Summer 2010, the Star Search remake is said to feature Abdul serving as a ccombination judge and host, although details are still being worked out. Rumors suggesting Paula was headed for Dancing With the Stars as well as Idol frenemy Simon Cowell’s upcoming X Factor series have also circulated recently. I hope she goes for the Star Search deal.

Back in the day when I was 8 years-old my Jazz Dancing group was scouted and sent to an audition for Star Search. We happily made it past the first audition but didn’t make it past the producers table . . .  tear… the experience was good and I think it would be great if the show became popular again.

The original Star Search wasn’t just for singers it also featured actors, comedians models and of course dancers who competed for the grand prize and fame. So basically, it’s like America’s Got Talent.
