Hurricane Matthew is one of the strongest storms to hit the coast of Florida in several years.

Hundreds of thousands of people are without power and storm surge could surpass ten feet in some areas.

It’s a serious situation, no doubt, but Fox News anchor Shepard Smith took the hysteria to a whole new level with his Doomsday forecast.

“This moves 20 miles to the west, and you and everyone you know are dead,” he warned. “All of you. Because you can’t survive it. It’s not possible unless you’re very very lucky. And your kids die too.”

More than 2 million residents in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina were ordered to evacuate the region, but not everyone has chosen to comply.
