Skyspace LA doesn’t open to the public until Saturday (June 25), but all of us at the morning show were lucky enough to attend a sneak preview yesterday where we got to try out the crazy Skyslide everyone’s been talking about!
It’s located on the 70th floor of the U.S. Bank Tower in downtown Los Angeles. In addition to the Skyslide, there are several LA-themed art installations and multiple observation decks that offer a 360-degree view of LA.
Tickets for Skyspace LA cost $25 for adults. It’s an additional $8 if you’re feeling brave enough to ride the slide.
Oh…and in case you didn’t know, the U.S. Bank Tower is our nation’s tallest building west of the Mississippi River, so if you’re afraid of heights…prepare yourself!
Surfer Stephen suffers from that particular phobia. He almost didn’t go through with it, but he downed a few alcoholic drinks and lived to tell the tale.
We all joined Carson Daly this morning to fill him in on the amazing experience. Take a listen:
And yes…you best believe we filmed the entire thing! Check out Producer Angie’s perfect landing, Surfer Stephen’s freak out, and my not-so-graceful tumble!
