One of AMP Radio’s favorite DJs, Martin Garrix, turns 18-years-old today (May 14). It’s hard to believe that with his massive international career that he’s not already of age, but Garrix has been working on his DJ career for 10 years now. When he saw Tiesto at 8-years-old, the Dutch DJ wunderkind was hooked.

We know Garrix is from Amsterdam and everything is way different over there when it comes to what’s legal and what’s not, but if Garrix is partying in Los Angeles, here are some of the things he can now enjoy legally.

He Can Get Married

Not that we think Martin Garrix should rush into getting married, but now he can without the permission of his family. If he wants to get it done quick and fancy, there are some small wedding chapels in Los Angeles like Same Day Marriage and the Albertson Wedding Chapel.

He Can Get A Tattoo Or Piercing

Not that teenagers follow any of these rules, but now Garrix can get his skin inked up and get any kind of piercing he wants without his parents’ permission. Whether he wants a tribal tattoo (Zulu Tattoo) or something more classic like an ode to his mom (Shamrock Social Club), there are tons of tattoo places all over Los Angeles where the birthday boy can permanently emblazon something on his body. Maybe the BPMs for “Animals?”

He Can Go Bungee Jumping & Skydiving

Most places let you go skydiving and bungee jumping with your parents’ consent, but if Garrix wants to risk his life at extreme sports, he now has the personal freedom to make that choice himself.  He can bungee jump at the Bridge to Nowhere  or Sky Dive over the California coast near Long Beach at the Camarillo Airport.

He Can Get A Hotel Room

Finally, Garrix can bring the after-party to his hotel suite. There won’t be poppin’ bottles just yet (he has three more years until he can legally do that), but Garrix can hang with his crew on the rooftop of The Ace Hotel in Downtown,  kick it with high-profile celebs at the Chateau Marmont, or get a poolside room at the Roosevelt.

He Can Rent An Apartment

Moving out on your own can be pretty scary, especially when you’re only 18-years-old, but we have a feeling that Garrix is fearless (or maybe even has his own apartment). Instead of meeting some creep off Craigslist, Garrix can contact boutique Los Angeles rental agencies like The Rental Girl or check out cool apps like Zillow or Trulia. Some of the most popular up-and-coming rental areas for young, hip kids are El Sereno, Beverlywood, Solano Canyon, and Downtown Los Angeles which is constantly expanding. Curbed LA has tons of info every day on the renting and buying market in Los Angeles.

He Can Buy A Car

New, used, old, or just plain’ ballin, Garrix is now old enough to buy a car without the help of his parents. If he wants a vintage car, he can hit up places like Chequered Flag Int’l in Marina Del Rey for an old Caddy or Benz. A used luxury car can be found at Dream Motorcars on La Cienega. Of if he wants to get all Silicon Valley, eco-friendly-ish, there’s always the smartCenter in Beverly Hills for a Smart Car.
