They say art imitates life, but in this case, it seems as though life is imitating art in one of the most embarrassing slip-ups in recent memory.

Fox & Friends host Heather Childers was just a tad confused the other day when she referred to the University of Connecticut men’s basketball team as the “NAACP national champs.”

Here’s the thing, the Huskies won the NCAA championship, which has nothing to do with the NCAAP, an African-American civil rights organization.

This normally wouldn’t be headline-making news, except for the fact that Saturday Night Live predicted this exact situation during a sketch in last week’s show.

Bobby Moynihan’s impression of Brian Kilmeade is responsible for the gaffe and you can watch the entire bit below:
