People have a lot expectations when it comes to Valentine’s Day.

Some look forward to romantic dates, some keep track of how much you spend, and some want you to go the extra mile and come up with a creative way to prove your love.

With all of this riding on one day, there’s bound to be some disappointment.

Carson, who admittedly isn’t the biggest fan of this holiday, told us all about one of his most awkward Valentine’s Day dates.

“I had one where my credit card didn’t work on Valentine’s Day meal at a nice dinner,” he admitted.

Yikes! His date ended up paying for the night out and we can’t imagine that went over well.

“No, that did not work out. Well, it didn’t work out for a lot of reasons!” Carson laughed.

“But that’s embarrassing!” he continued. “Of that day of all days…all days! Not like I forgot my wallet. It was denied for some crazy reason. The only day! I had never had a problem.”

Okay, moral of the story: What did Carson learn from that fateful night?

“So fellas, take cash with you tonight as a back up.”
