We bet a lot of you out there are big fans of Valentine’s Day and can’t wait to spend a romantic day with honey bunny, but let’s be fair, not everyone is looking forward to February 14.

That includes our very own Carson Daly, who explained earlier this morning why he hasn’t made any extravagant plans with his fiancee this year.

“Valentine’s Day sucks when you’re single and when you’ve been with somebody for over eight years. It sucks. It sucks if you’re married with kids, it sucks when you’re single. There’s only a small, little period of time in your life when Valentine’s Day is really exciting,” he admitted.

“Everything outside of that is more pressure than pleasure.”

And Carson isn’t the only scrooge when it comes to Cupid.

According to a new study, 72% percent of women won’t check Facebook tomorrow because they don’t want to see people bragging about their relationships.

Even those who are coupled up don’t want to see that photo you posted of the bouquet of flowers you received because it makes them feel one-upped by the “competition.”

Carson had a heart-to-heart with today’s iPad Tag winner, Francine, who is also unmarried with children.

He asked Francine what her significant other does to celebrate the holiday, so he could stealthily copy their plans!

“You know what the saddest thing ever is? He’s so not romantic and so I’m lucky if I get a card and he might, might, pick me up one rose, but I’ve learned just to be used to it,” Francine said. “And I don’t do anything for him!”

Carson was already planning to head on over to CVS for Aleve, so he figured he’d kill two birds with one stone and stop by the card aisle.

Francine warned Carson about the large crowds of procrastinators, but with only a few hours left until V-Day, he’s not worried about the stores running out of Valentines.

“I always just get the one in Spanish and then I just say, ‘Oh, I’m trying to be funny!’ Meanwhile, that was the only one left! That’s my go-to.”
