If you’re reading this article, it’s likely because you are a fan of our station. If you’re a fan of our station, then you KNOW we’ve been hitting the latest Jason Derulo track featuring 2-Chainz ‘Talk Dirty’ HARD for these past couple of weeks.

The single just dropped in the states, and it’s spread like wild fire. We’re getting requests, it has crazy views on YouTube (110 million and counting), and it’s already topping the iTunes chart after only being in the U.S for a short minute.

We sat down with Jason Derulo to quickly chat about his song, and how it all came about.

On the song already being at the top of the charts.

“Its unbelievable! It’s Top 5 already on iTunes. So I definitely want to thank the fans out there for supporting on iTunes.”

McCabe: What did you want to make with this song?

Jason: [Producer] Wallpaper is out of his mind, much like I am myself, and I wanted to experiment and do some different stuff. So we tried new things. We didn’t necessarily have any barriers. We weren’t trying to make something that sounded like it was on the radio. We wanted to make something fresh and different. So this is one of the experiments, with the saxophone.

McCabe: Yeah we were trying to figure this out. It’s kind of like a snake charmer. An infectious little part of the song, it kind of makes it!

Jason:  Yeah, its just one of those songs man, that makes your head bop. Even if its your first time hearing it. Like the saxophone is charming you! Its been really fun. I just wanted to make a fun record. And I was like ‘yo, I’m talkin dirty on this record. Who can I get on this record? Who talks dirty?

McCabe:  TWO CHAINS! Was that one of your ideas to first go for him?

Jason:  Definitely! First choice, and I hit him up, and he laced me!

His album, Tattoos, which features ‘Talk Dirty’ is available on iTunes now.
