After months of blind auditions, battle rounds, knockouts, and live episodes, it all comes down to this.

In just a few short hours, Carson will crown the very newest winner of The Voice.

We here at AMP Radio are some of the show’s biggest fans, so Carson decided to surprise some of the staff with with VIP access to Monday’s show.

Our very own afternoon DJ Booker was there front and center and practically chomping at the bit this morning to give Carson his full review:

Before the show began, the crew started off the night with cocktails in Carson’s backstage trailer.

Carson has a trailer, everybody! How cool is that?” Booker said. “This backstage area, it was kind of like a trailer park, but like I don’t know, like a Malibu trailer park, if you will.”

After a little catch-up session, it was time to head on over to the stage. Booker and company had some primo seats right behind the four coaches, so he was able to take in a great view of the finale performances.

Tessanne Chin stepped up to the plate first and blew Booker away. Throughout the evening she performed P!nk’s “Try,” she dueted with coach Adam Levine on “Let It Be,” and brought the audience to their feet with her cover of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing.”

“This is performance one. This is the first thing we really get to see live from the contestants,” Booker explained. At this point, I was about to get up and leave. I was like, ‘This is it. There’s the winner. We’re done! We’re done here!'”

Thankfully, Booker managed to stay put in his seat to check out the other finalists. He doesn’t think Will Champlin will go home a winner tonight, but he praised the artist for his great taste in music.

“Look at the songs he chose, They were great songs and you’ve gotta give credit to Adam Levine for that.”

“I think it’s really hard for a guy because anything you do sort of sounds like an audition for Glee,” he added. “It toes the line of that and being really good. The guy is super, super good.”

Jacquie Lee, the youngest contestant remaining in the competition closed the show with notoriously challenging Dreamgirls hit, “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going.”

“When you typically think 16, you wouldn’t think of a girl with this much presence with that much soul in her voice and she had such a confidence.”

Booker famously predicted a previous Voice champion, season 4’s Danielle Bradbery, so after all was said and done last night, he felt pretty confident with his pick for tonight’s big finale.

“I’m gonna go back and say Tessanne, contestant #1, the girl from Jamaica,” he said. “She wins the whole thing tonight. She’s the frontrunner. She’s your Voice.”

Find out if he’s right tonight at 9pm PT on NBC. Lady Gaga, Ne-Yo, OneRepublic, Paramore, and more will also be performing, so it’s bound to be the most unforgettable Voice finale yet!
