Macklemore’s a big fan of pranks. Just a few weeks ago, he crank called scalpers trying to make a buck off tickets to his own concert.

Well, it turns out the Seattle rapper enjoys a good stunt, even when he’s not in on the joke.

A man named Andrew Hales managed to fool fans when he dressed up as Macklemore at his Utah’s Maverick Center concert.

With just a hooded jacket and sunglasses, he briefly bypassed venue security and got to use a backstage bathroom before getting thrown out.

We can’t blame everyone who was duped. He’s a dead ringer for the “Thrift Shop” star.

And guess what? This prank is Macklemore-approved. He gave Hales a shout out on Twitter:
