Well, it’s safe to say Disneyland is not the Happiest Place on Earth today.

A Mickey Mouse March is set to go down today in protest of Disney’s change in their disability policy.

In response to park-goers who were abusing the system, the family of theme parks is now requiring guests to submit for a disability access service card.

It works like a fast pass, allowing the guest and the rest of their party to return to a ride at a specific time. However, the wait time lasts as long as someone would wait in line anyway, which isn’t always a viable option for those with profound physical or mental impairments.

Kim McClain of McClain Special Needs Advocacy is launching a peaceful protest today in response to the new policy.

Those interested in participating in today’s demonstration should meet at the 7-Eleven at 611 W. Katella Avenue in Anaheim, CA 92802 at 10 am. Children are also invited to attend and news crews are expected to cover the event.
