Nirvana’s ‘Something In The Way’: Surfer Stephen’s Viral Video Of The Day

In searching for the Viral Video of the Day, I have a few go-to sites. Some are in blog form and others are aggregators where tons of random videos are uploaded.

Not much out there today, so I thought I’d post some music, but wasn’t sure what until I came across this title for a post, “Never heard this before it’s the most captivatingly beautiful song I have ever heard.”

Pretty show stopping headline that’d you’d be stoked to click on and hear something new. Something that just blew somebody’s mind enough to declare it the best thing they’ve ever heard!

I mean, wow, right? Let’s get down with whatever this person is talking about I’m so excited to listen to it!

It’s a song called “Something in the Way,” off the history-making, game-changing album, Nevermind from NIRVANA! You know, that one band the lead singer of the Foo Fighters used to play drums in. Wait, Dave Grohl plays the drums? What, really!?

If you’re reading this, you listen to AMP Radio and obviously love music.

And if you have any idea who I am, which would be very surprising, then you also listen to the morning show and understand we are all huge fans of music.

Now, I get that this album is from 1993, but people come on. If you love music, you need to expand your listening habits and educate yourself on its history.

Maybe it’s just this one guy or girl who has never heard Nirvana before and you yourself are well-educated on the topic of music and its history.

All I’m saying is, we should all know the mile-marking moments in music and at the very least, be able to recognize the artists that have changed its path.

Also, this just gives me a reason to post this song, which is great, for today’s Viral Video of the Day.

Also, just for fun, another great track off Nevermind from a live performance at Reading in ’92, “Drain You.”

It’s the weekend! Celebrate with Surfer Stephen and some of his viral videos below:
