Should Kobe Bryant Stop Tweeting During Lakers Playoffs Games?

Game 2 of the Lakers vs. Spurs playoffs is set to go down tonight and it’s a must-win game for our boys in purple and gold.

Most of the drama, however, is taking place off the court and on Twitter.

Star player Kobe Bryant, who is sidelined this post-season with a ruptured Achilles, was live-tweeting his critique during Game 1 versus the San Antonio Spurs, which seemed to ruffle some feathers!

The post-game press conference was dominated by Kobe talk, much to the chagrin of coach Mike D’Antoni.

“He’s a fan right now, he’s a fan, you guys put a little more importance on that kind of fan,” D’Antoni told reporters. “He gets excited, he wants to be part of it, I don’t blame him, it’s good.”

Bryant took those comments as a major diss and returned to Twitter to vent:

After a backlash ensued, Kobe decided to take a vow of Twitter silence, at least during Lakers games, that is.

Carson and Producer Angie put in their own two cents on the debate and asked all you loyal morning show listeners to weigh in too:

  • What do you think? Should Kobe Bryant stop live-tweeting during the playoffs? Vote in our poll below!
