It’s been an emotional week for the entire country, but especially for the residents of Boston, who are grieving the loss of 3 marathon spectators and more than a hundred injured others.

In times like these, our community bands together for strength and that’s exactly what happened at the Boston Bruins NHL game Wednesday night.

Singer Rene Rancourt has been performing the Star-Spangled Banner at Bruins home games for 35 years, but yesterday in an incredible show of patriotism, the crowd joined in with a tear-jerking performance of their own.

The fans broke out in a huge “USA, USA” chant afterwards and frankly, it’s a bright light amongst all the heart-breaking news we’ve had this week.
