Following the death of a West Hollywood man over the weekend, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation is offering free meningitis vaccinations beginning today.

According to KTLA, the foundation has a large enough supply to administer 10,000 doses.

33-year-old lawyer Brett Shaad became critically ill after attending the White Party, an annual Easter weekend party for gay men in Palm Springs. He died just one week after experiencing symptoms.

Health officials worry this could mark the beginning of an outbreak in Southern California. Several cases were also reported in New York City.

Symptoms of meningitis include sudden fever, severe headache and sensitivity to light.

The disease is curable if found early and treated with anti-biotics.

Would you like to get vaccinated? Visit theĀ AIDS Healthcare Foundation locations below for a free dose:

  • West Hollywood pharmacy: 8212 Santa Monica Blvd.
  • Hollywood pharmacy: 6210 Sunset Blvd.
  • Hollywood Men’s Wellness Center: 1300 N. Vermont Ave., Suite 407.
