B. Smyth Talks ‘Leggo’ With McCabe!

Mix the smooth moves of Usher, vocal chops of Chris Brown and look appeal of Trey Songz…you get B. Smyth.  The 19 year old Fort Lauderdale native has been making his way into the R&B scene with his new video and song, ‘Leggo’.

McCabe sat down with Smyth in the Red Bull Sound Space at AMP Radio to talk about how he got his start, playing sports in high school and his musical collaboration with 2 Chainz

B. Smyth was discovered by posting YouTube videos of himself at the age of 17, covering songs by Michael Jackson, Trey Songz, and Miguel.

He told Teen Vogue he was unsure of his career; “Two years I decided I wanted to pursue music as a career and didn’t really know how I was I was going to do that, so I used the internet to my advantage and started putting up YouTube videos…I actually went to Motown last and felt they were the best fit for me.”

Seems like B. Smyth is on his way to the top! Let us know what you think!
