AMP Radio’s Week In Review: Lindsay Lohan, ‘Tonight Show’ Shake Up, & KTLA Prank

Man, oh man! Did this week fly by or what?

This week, we ushered in the beginning of spring (thank goodness) and before you know it, we’ll be hitting the beaches!

But first things first, let’s look back at some of the more memorable moments from this busy week.

Lindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay! Will she ever learn? After showing up 48 minutes late to her court hearing, the judge slapped Lindsay Lohan with 90 days in lockdown rehab. She was lucky to get away without any jail time, but do you think yet another stint in rehab will do her any good?

Meanwhile in Burbank, the rumor mill kicked into high gear with speculation that NBC might be replacing Tonight Show host Jay Leno with Jimmy Fallon before his contract expires in 2014. For now, it looks like Leno is staying put, but Jimmy appears to be the obvious choice for his replacement and there’s talk of Fallon moving the entire production to NYC!

Selena Gomez is finally opening up about her split with Justin Bieber. She poked fun at the pop star while appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman, hinting that the Biebs was a big cry baby!

Finally, we’ve got a viral video to put a smile on your face. KTLA weatherman Henry Dicarlo got punked on live television while he was doing some birthday announcements. We’ll just say someone submitted an inappropriate name and then all hell broke loose!

Take a listen to the week that was this third week of March at AMP Radio:

Next week, we are proud to announce that Carson will be hosting the 9am hour of the Today show in New York City! Our buddy Booker will be filling in for him with tons of great prizes to give away, so make sure to tune in for that!
