In Europe, there’s been a huge uproar after horse meat was discovered in IKEA meatballs.
Now before you go and freak out, the company insists the U.S. batch is safe for consumption because our country uses a different supplier.
But if you ask Carson, the horse meat wasn’t the most shocking part of this headline. It was the fact that IKEA, a furniture store, sells meatballs!
Apparently he’s never stepped inside an actual IKEA. Instead, he orders what he needs online, so he’s completely unaware of IKEA’s infamous Swedish cuisine.
We all did a double take when he revealed this and decided to arrange a taste test stat!
This morning, Carson took his first bite. What did he think? Take a listen…
“They’re very delicious,” Carson declared. “They’re very succulent, they’re still very moist.”
“The reason it took me a long time is because when I eat meatballs, if you really chew through it, that’s when you can taste some of the grit or a little porky, you know, if it’s not consistent. You know, you get a little dirt from the track. A little Santa Anita in there! A little horseshoe! A little Triple Crown crunch,” Carson joked.
In fact, he loved the grub so much, he ate some more. So there you have it! The seal of approval from Carson…we’ll call this case closed.
