One of the great things about AMP Radio is you, the listener.

You guys have a great appreciation for music, whether it’s just the constant barrage of top 40 music we shove down your throats or a new track or artist that we play on the morning show, you always have an opinion and call in.

I myself grew up listening to a lot of punk rock and always went against the grain, so I stayed as far away from top 40 as I could and wouldn’t be caught dead watching TRL. That doesn’t mean I couldn’t appreciate a good song or a catchy pop tune, but there wasn’t a chance in hell I would admit it.

I remember once when we were kids, me and my friends caught Producer Angie’s husband with a copy Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill and boy, did he never hear the end of it and still doesn’t.

When I first saw the movie Garden State, I dug it. I think partially because I thought I was going to marry Natalie Portman until that evil ballet dancer got a hold of her, that is.

From Garden State, I discovered the song “Don’t Panic” by Coldplay and I was into it. Of course, I never told anyone about it, but I think I listened to it so much that it was the top song played on my old iPod, which also reminds me of the “Do you know how I know you’re gay” scene from The 40-Year-Old Virgin.

I also may or may not have been at the Hollywood Bowl this season on the night we lost the great Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys and got to see Coldplay play their “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)” tribute.

So anyway, on to today’s Viral Video of the Day. I thought we’d take a look at a cool performance by Coldplay I just saw because you guys dig music so much, I think you’ll dig this.

By the way, I also dug that song “Ironic” from Alanis, but only because she’s hot, you hear me? Only because she’s hot and I swear to god, if you tell anyone, I’m coming for you!
