Well folks, another week has come and gone and we here at AMP Radio try to keep you up to speed on the stories everybody’s talking about.

Monday morning kicked off with a surprising announcement. After firing Mike Brown just a few days prior, the Los Angeles Lakers entered into negotiations with former coach Phil Jackson. Things took a 180 at some point because the team ended up hiring Mike D’Antoni to lead the team to the NBA championship.

The Voice top 12 performed live for America’s vote and hearts were broken when Team Christina’s Adriana Louise and Team Blake’s Michaela Paige were eliminated from the hit singing competition.

It seemed like every day, more unbelievable details leaked regarding the General Petraeus affair scandal. We had a hard time keeping track of it all, so we were thankful when Stephen Colbert cleared it up.

And looking forward to this weekend, we have the big USC-UCLA football rivalry game! Fans are arguing this season over whether the USC Trojan Marching Band drum major should be allowed to stab the field at the Rose Bowl, which has been a tradition for 41 years. What do you think? Vote in our poll!

While you wait for 5 o’clock to roll around, listen to Carson’s recap of this eventful week:
