Jennifer Lopez Talks About Her World Tour With Booker

Jennifer Lopez called 97.1 AMP Radio on Friday and surprised a caller with front row tickets to her upcoming concert in LA! She also talked to Booker about her World Tour, experience with American Idol, acting career and much more!

Jennifer surprised Laura from Oxnard as Booker was just about to give her the tickets. “Can I tell her?,” asked Jennifer. “I just wanted to let you know you won the front row tickets,” she continued.

Jennifer also talked to Booker about her current World Tour with Enrique Iglesias. “We’ve already done South America, Canada. We’re doing the States now, we’re going to Australia, Asia, Europe. All by the end of the year,” said Lopez.

Booker asked Jennifer about her co-headliner, Enrique Iglesias, and how the tour all came together.

“It’s one of those things and how things kinda happen in my life. It kinda just happens naturally. He had called me about doing a song together, maybe about… eight months before the tour, and we started working on a record and we started talking about it and the kind of song we wanted to do and then as we talking I realized that I was talking about going on a tour after [American] Idol wrapped and he was talking about going on tour and we were talking to the same company and I was like ‘hey, wouldn’t this work nice together?’ and it just kind of happened.”

Jennifer also talked about her experience on American Idol and why she knew it was time to leave.

“I feel great about the whole experience, and that’s 100% being honest with you,” Lopez said. “I was only supposed to do it for a year… wound up doing it for two years, and when they offered me to do the third year I was like, I don’t know if I should do this again, you know. I have a lot of other things that I’ve put on hold because of it and I just felt it was time to get back to doing what I do.”

When asked about her next endeavor, Jennifer talked about focusing on her acting and movie career next.
