Scientology Founder’s Great-Grandson Warns Katie Holmes: “She Has To Fight For Her Daughter’s Mind”

We just can’t get enough of the Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes divorce here at the morning show.

Of course, it’s always sad when a couple breaks up, but the way in which it all went down, Katie using pre-paid cell phones and hiring a whole new security staff, seems absolutely fascinating. It would make a great movie!

There’s wide speculation that Scientology caused Katie Holmes to split from her husband of 5 years.

Jamie DeWolf, the great-grandson of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard recently sat down with Inside Edition to give his very candid take on the highly-publicized divorce.

“I would apologize for what my great-grandfather has done, and I would commend her for escaping while she still can,” he said.

Their divorce was quietly settled within a matter of days, leading many to believe that Katie Holmes offered her silence in exchange for a better deal.

“The last thing they want is someone as powerful as Katie Holmes walking in front of a microphone and unloading everything she saw behind the curtain,” DeWolf added.

And the fight is far from over. DeWolf warns, “I don’t think you can be a traditional mom in Scientology. I think it’s impossible…Katie Holmes has seen enough behind the curtain to know that she has to fight for her daughter’s mind.”

DeWolf has never been a practicing member of Scientology, but that hasn’t stopped him from mocking the religion during his work as a performance artist.
