Jay-Z & Will Smith Partner to Re-Make “Annie”-

Actress, wife and mother, Jada Pinkett-Smith sat down with a morning TV show about an upcoming re-make of the musical “Annie.”

The upcoming feature will star Will Smith’s daughter and Jay-Z’s artist, Willow Smith. Needless to say Will and Jay-Z will both act as producers for the film, while Jay-Z will also be responsible for the music (shocker!). “We’re partnering with Jay-Z and Roc Nation as far as Annie is concerned. Willow’s going to star,” Jada told hosts on the “Today” show.

She then explained how her and Will wanted to put their own spin on other classics, including “The Karate Kid,” which their son Jaden starred in. “That was a film that Will and I both loved.” Jada said of ‘Karete Kid,’  We were like, ‘We have got to bring justice to this movie.”

They plan to do the same thing with the musical. “‘Annie’s a classic. We are taking our time to make sure the script is right and you know Jay-Z’s gonna kill the music.”

Bruno Mars “Halfway” Done with Album-

Twitter is the news! Just recently, Bruno Mars took to his Twitter to share the good news about the progress of his new album.

“I want you guys to know that I’m halfway done with my second album. I couldn’t be happier :),” he wrote.

It has been 2 years since his Grammy-nominated album Doo-Wops and Hooligans  first graced our ears and we are itching for more Bruno.

A bit later, the Hawaiian singer, who was clearly feeling his new music tweeted: “As of now the album title is Bruno Mars Prepare To S**t Yourself!”

The album doesn’t have a title or due date just yet but as soon as we know it, we’ll give you the scoop!
