Lemonade on a hot day is like a gift from heaven, right? We can just imagine cruisin’ to a BBQ in our new Fiat convertible on a hot July day and sipping on some deliciously refreshing lemonade.

We know that you’re adventurous, so we want to share some unique (and easy!) recipes for summer’s most refreshing beverage. Do any of these look especially yummy to you?

lemons Topless Summer: Our Favorite Summertime Lemonade Recipes

Classic Lemonade

3 cups lemon juice
2 cups sugar
4 cups water

Directions: Pour 3 cups of fresh lemon juice into a pitcher, stir in 2 cups of sugar (if you put the sugar in the blender for a few seconds, it gets super fine and dissolves more easily), stir in 4 cups of water and some ice, and BOOM! Lemonade!

Now that you have a base to work with, let’s get funky!

Lavender Lemonade

3 cups sugar
3 cups water
1/4 cup dried lavender
4 cups lemon juice

Directions: make a simple syrup out of the sugar and water (boil them until the sugar is dissolved), stir in lavender, take off heat and let the mixture hang out for about 10 minutes. Strain out the lavender, let the liquid cool off, then stir in the lemon juice. Serve over ice and enjoy!

Pink Lemonade


1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 cups superfine sugar
2 cups cranberry juice

Directions: Make a simple syrup with the water and granulated sugar, remove from heat, and chill. Add the lemon juice, superfine sugar, cranberry juice, and 1 1/2 quarts water to a pitcher and stir. Tadah! Lemonade fit for Nicki Minaj!

Ginger Lemonade


3 cups white sugar
4 quarts water
14 slices fresh ginger
4 cups lemon juice

Directions: As usual, start with a simple syrup. This time, add in the ginger. Once everything is nice and syrupy, remove it from the heat and let it cool. Stir in lemons juice, remove ginger, and serve over ice. Mmmm. Spicy!

Vanilla Lemonade


1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 vanilla bean, split
8 lemons (yielding 1 cup juice)
Cold water

Directions: Simple syrups time! Stir together water, sugar, and vanilla bean and boil. Once it’s a syrup, remove from heat, cool, then strain. Add your syrup and lemon juice to a pitcher. Add water until the pitcher is full and serve over ice! This lemonade recipe is common in the Caribbean, so sit back, relax and make like you’re on a white sand beach listening to a steel drum band!
