Bieber fever is now so out of control, it’s registering on the Richter Scale!

Justin Bieber kicked of the first of several secret shows to promote his new album, Believe,  in Oslo, Norway. The performance is slated to air in the teen star’s first television special, All Around The World, on June 21. The performance has sparked a crazed crowd of fans to swarm the streets of Oslo to snag a spot in the audience of this free show at the city’s opera house. Police have declared a state of emergency after tens of thousands of fans have stopped traffic on streets, bridges, and sidewalks.

Scooter Braun, Bieber’s rep, and his friend in Oslo spoke with Harvey Levin at TMZ a few minutes ago along. Scooter’s friend stated that he heard from the Richter Institute in Oslo that the vibrations from the fans movements were actually registering on the scale!! Scooter himself is no stranger to crazed fans. Some “Beliebers” at Roosevelt Mall in Long Island, New York got in a scuffle with Scooter and he ended up getting arrested!

The singer is in an undisclosed location in the care of the Oslo police department at the moment. He sent out a series of tweets, showing concern for his fans and the situation in general:
