It’s graduation day at McKinley High and the seniors of Glee are saying their final goodbyes.

Tonight’s episode is a tearjerker; with the graduating members of New Directions preparing themselves for what lies ahead. But even with all the waterworks the kids manage to keep it together long enough to perform a few songs.

It’s a Finn (Cory Monteith) heavy episode with him performing Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” with Blaine (Darren Criss) and Bruce Springsteen’s “Glory Days” with Puck (Mark Salling). Rachel (Lea Michele) belts out BeyoncĂ©’s “I Was Here,” while Kurt (Chris Colfer) gets sentimental with Madonna’s “I’ll Remember.” The whole gang gets a chance to perform together one last time with the New Radicals one hit, “You Get What You Give” and the Beatles’ classic “In My Life.”

The episode also introduces us to Santana’s mom, Maribel, played by Gloria Estefan. Though she doesn’t get a chance to sing, the Latin star told The Hollywood Reporter, she plays a supportive mom who’s concerned about her daughter’s future. We’ll have to wait and see if Santana (Naya Rivera) takes that cheerleading scholarship to the University to Louisville or continues with her dream of becoming a star.

Though there’s been speculation about who’s staying and going next season, creator Ryan Murphy told New York Magazine last week, “They’re all coming back. Anyone who is a regular is coming back. Everyone said yes.” Next year, the show plans to become a “show-within-a-show,” which will bide its time between New York and Ohio, where McKinley High is located. Murphy said that tonight’s season finale will explain how some of these characters will remain part of the show.
