For those of you who don’t know, Carson has a 3-year-old son and when he started planning a boys’ night out for the two of them, he found himself in a bit of a conundrum.

He wanted to go to dinner somewhere where he could grab a beer and catch up on some sports, but it needed to have some games and other kids around for his son.

Or in other words, the elusive family-friendly restaurant.

When Carson was growing up, he felt like there were tons of spots that fit the bill, but now? Not so much.

That’s why he asked all of you to call in with your personal recommendations:

Here’s what the AMP Radio audience suggested:

Mulligan Family Fun Center – Torrance:

Mulligan has lots of activities to keep Carson’s son busy, including mini-golf, arcade games, rock walls, go-karts, and batting cages.

Plus, they serve beer for all the moms and dads that need to unwind a little bit.

Round 1 Bowling & Amusement – Hacienda Heights:

Carson could definitely get in some father-son bonding time at Round 1 Bowling & Amusement. Besides bowling, there’s karaoke, arcade games, and ping pong.

When it’s time for dinner, Jack can have his cheeseburger he so desperately wanted and they have 6 beers on draft for Carson!

Kitchen, Den and Bar – Long Beach:

Kitchen, Den and Bar, also known as KDB, offers the latest interactive and prize games, a 10-lane bowling alley, music, and entertainment.

Better yet, they have 2 bars, including 1 sports bar.

Just keep in mind that KDB is strictly 21 and over after 10pm, but shouldn’t your little ones be in bed by then, anyway?

Lamppost Pizza – several locations:

Finally, we have Lamppost Pizza, a chain with locations in both California and Texas.

AMP Radio listener Justin told Carson the restaurant has a little bit of everything. Beer and sports for Carson, games for Jack, and last but not least, “the best pizza ever.”

Well, that’s quite the high praise! We may just have to go check that out for ourselves!
