Usher has been a busy man as of late! He’s had huge success collaborating on David Guetta’s ‘Without You’ , and his newest single ‘Climax’ has been climbing (and steaming!) up the charts.

Usher insists that song isn’t all sex, he recently spoke with V-103‘s Bryan Cameron: “It’s odd that people really only view ‘Climax’ as a sexual song. It’s not even about sex. It’s really about the ultimate experience or lack thereof. Or the finale of an experience of love and life. When you’re in a relationship…and it has kinda reached the climax of where it can go, you gotta let it go if you are not going to commit.”

To add to the excitement of his new work, Usher just announced his next album! The seven-time Grammy winner will release his seventh album, ‘Looking For Myself’ on June 12. They do say that seven is a lucky number, don’t they?

If ‘Climax’ left you yearning for more, you can rest assured that the new album will be just as sensual as his past Billboard chart-topping works.

Looking for Myself features collaborators including Salaam RemiDiplo (who produced Climax) , Rico LoveJim Jonsin and Max Martin. Usher is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on the album, which is now available for pre-order in both standard and deluxe editions.

Music isn’t the only thing keeping Usher busy. The R&B superstar has been seen jogging and working out around London and recently revealed why in a BBC interview: “I’m in preparation later this year to play the role of  Sugar Ray Leonard in a boxing film and it’s gonna be incredible. […] So if you guys see me running around London, that’s what it is. If you see me in the corners boxing. I’m doing that while working on this album.”

He’ll be stepping into the ring opposite Gael Garcia Bernal in “Hands of Stone”, a biopic about Panamanian boxer Roberto Durán next year.
