Rihanna In Talks to Join X-Factor-

Now, we aren’t swearing by this but word through the blog-vine is that when it comes to The X-Factor: Britney Spears is out! Rihanna is in! And she is making good money on top of that.

According to Media Take Out a source very close to Rihanna has divulged that Rihanna just signed on to be the newest judge on Simon Cowell’s singing contest. They say they have zero idea how, why or what happened to Britney’s highly publicized deal but it fell through, they claim.

“[Rihanna] wanted to be on X-Factor, but we all thought that [Britney Spears] had it . . . when [Rihanna] found out that they wanted her instead, she jumped at [the opportunity].” they said.

Going by their account, Rihanna stands to make upwards of 10 or 20 million due to the knowing leadership of her Roc Nation management team.

This isn’t the craziest thing we’ve heard and when you think about it, it makes sense. Rihanna clearly loves music but knows she needs a break from touring and a steady gig in Los Angeles will surely keep her grounded a little more often.

Also, fun! What a job, right?

Maroon 5 Announce New Album, Collaborations-

Just yesterday Maroon 5 broke the news that they had a whole album worth of new music to share with the world. Needless to say, we were stoked! Their fourth studio album, entitled Overexposed is slated to come out on June 26th.

The bands leader and “The Voice” coach, Adam Levine calls the album “one of our most diverse and poppiest albums yet.” You can also expect some exciting collaborations on the album. After working with the folks like Rihanna and Christina Aguilera, the band is no stranger to playing with their sound, but they intentionally wanted to mix it up a bit.

So they had Pittsburgh’s finest Wiz Khalifa feature on the track “Payphone,” which will be on the 10-track LP.

Maroon’s guitarist, James Valentine, told Rolling Stone a little of how that came to fruition, “At this point in our career I think it was a good thing to completely mix up our process and it yielded good results, as well as a more collaborative spirit within the band. We wanted to make something that sounded contemporary with the elements of a lot of early eras of pop music. This is our most ‘pop’ record ever and we weren’t shy about really going for it.”

DJ Khaled Taps Young Money All-Stars And More For Next Album-

DJ Khaled has a lot to prove. With Album titles like We The Best, We Global, We The Best Forever, and now Kiss the Ring, Khaled is a pro and talking tall and then backing it up with hot tracks that we can’t stop playing. You can add this next one to that list.

The first single off his new album features a couple of Young Money’s biggest names (Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj) as well as R&B’s golden boy, Chris Brown and MMG mogul, Rick Ross. “Take it to the Head” is all about going hard in every aspect of life, just like most Khaled songs, of which you’ve probably heard a couple.

DJ Khaled is best known for his last big hit, “I’m On One,” which featured Drake. Khaled spoke on working with Drizzy; it was all love. “This song has a special story because I’ve been trying to get Drake to do a verse on my album for… it took me like a whole full year. In a good positive way, nothing negative,” Khaled told Billboard. “Just his schedule, his creative process to get things done. Actually Drake was heavily involved. Actually he blessed me as well as Ross, Lil Wayne, just the whole team.”

Check this one for yourself. What do you think? Worth kissing a ring? Tell us below.
