Whitney Houston was a bright beacon of light and positivity in the beginning of her career; many considered her to be like the beautiful, sweet, girl-next-door that they could never attain.

But, as we know, her life took a turn later on and this “turn” was what contributed to her untimely death on February 11th at the age of 48.

Houston had the chance to see one of her musical mentors, Clive Davis, directly before her death and Davis hasn’t hesitated to set into motion the plans for a biopic of Houston’s life. Davis even has some pop stars and actresses in mind for the role.

According to the Daily Mail, iconic record producer Clive Davis is hoping to have a script drafted “as soon as possible” in order to get Houston’s biopic into development sooner rather than later.

Apparently, there’s an actress shortlist for the role already.

The list includes [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Vivica A. Everytime an entertainer passes, people feel like it’s the best time to try to cash in on them. Now we all know Clive Davis is a business man, but come on…really??!! Rihanna!!! And I’ve been hearing a lot lately about a biopic on WH’s life, but let’s get REAL…I don’t think any of these names listed could possibly do Whitney Houston any justice!!! Especially Rihanna, the chick can’t sing!
