[photogallerylink id=146863 align=right] Nicki Minaj finally got her shine on in Vogue magazine.

The Head Barb has a feature in the March issue, where she appears to look more like a smurf than herself but keeps the pink hair so we recognize her.

Donning a red gown in the feature image, she talks about the job she thinks she’d have if she were’t spitting fierce bars and auto-tuning pop hits.

A huge part of me wanted to be a lawyer!” Nicki told the magazine. “I would do a really good job as a prosecutor.”

She also mentioned the message she tries to convy to fans, insisting that every woman should take the initiative to get their education and strive for their goals. She plans to help by one day starting a foundation for young girls. “The Nicki Minaj girl is a fun, artsy girl who can become a fierce force to be reckoned with on Wall Street!” she explained. “They hang on my every word, so I tell them, go to school, be ambitious. The worst position is to be financially dependent on the man.”

Sounds like a good message. A little more positive than her single “Stupid H-e.”

[photogallerylink id=81871 align=right] Diddy is an entrepreneur at heart. Last month we reported on Diddy starting a brand new network called Revolt. And just this week the Bad Boy mogul checked in on YouTube to confirm that he is indeed heading up a new cable channel.

He also took the time to applaud and thank Comcast, who will launch the channel, for jumping on board with him. “I’d first like to say thank you to Comcast, Comcast Diversity Council and NBC for recognizing the importance of minority ownership of cable television,” but he was diplomatic and invited other cable providers like Direct TV and Time Warner to help him spread his message.

And Diddy has thought about what he wants to present on his new network, so you can expect to see a lot of music on Revolt. “I grew up watching BET, MTV, HBO and NBC, and I had a dream that one day I would get a chance, an opportunity to show my perspective coming from a musical standpoint.”

He calls his network a “revolution of music on television,” but it sounds a little more like a renaissance of the golden age of MTV, when videos played all day long and networks like The Box, literally ONLY played music videos-not even commercials.

He explained that he intended to showcase the music the way the artists intended the audience to hear it:  ”uncut, raw, and  uncensored.”

Sounds good over here! We look forward to his the new network. If it means more music, what could be bad about that? Check it out at the end of 2012.

Updates to come.

[photogallerylink id=147858 align=left] The first artist to ever have the whole world have her album may well be Adele if this keeps up. The UK singer has kept up a pace of album sales that hasn’t happened in music since we started keeping records. And she isn’t slowing down one bit. After breaking records held by great and iconic singers like [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Celine Dion[/lastfm] and the late [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Whitney Houston[/lastfm], she’s gone and done it again.

After performing (and winning) at the Grammy Awards, Adele bested the record for post Grammy sales hikes, moving more than 730,000 units in the week after the show aired. The previous record was held by [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Nora Jones[/lastfm] and her album Come Away With Me back in 2003.

Along with the sales hike, came another record: being the first artist to go double platinum on iTunes. In fact she has a slew of records under her belt. She’s unstoppable, she even gave the finger at the BRIT Awards and unlike [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]M.I.A.[/lastfm], people seemed to like her more for it!
