It’s Tuesday and you know what that means?

It’s time for Carson’s recap of The Voice!

The hit singing competition had a huge debut after the Super Bowl and now it’s back to its normal night and time, Mondays at 8/7c!

Now, we know there are lots of different recaps you can read online, but guess what? This is the only one where you can get the scoop straight from the show’s host, Carson Daly!

Everybody expected The Voice to get big ratings in its post-Super Bowl episode, but what was really surprising was how many people tuned in again last night.

Carson gave us the early numbers straight from the head honchos at NBC…take a listen!

Now, onto last night’s episode!

Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton kicked things off with a high energy [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Prince[/lastfm] medley.

Christina sounded flawless on “1999” and we were loving Blake’s country-fied version of “Kiss!”

It’s not often that [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Prince[/lastfm] licenses his music to other people, but we think the coaches of The Voice did him proud!

There were tons of great blind auditions last night, but one in particular struck a chord with Carson.

Back a few months ago, he was sent a video of an Air Force band performing Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.”

The lead singer, Staff Sgt. Angie Johnson, owned the stage with her incredible talent and from the moment Carson first watched her on YouTube, he made it his mission to get her on The Voice.

Her big audition finally came last night…take a look at how it went!
