[photogallerylink id=15454 align=right]The [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Black Eyed Peas [/lastfm]front man hasn’t taken much of a break since his group took a sabbatical from making music together. While[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] Fergie[/lastfm] is taking this time to chill with her boyfriend, Tab and Apl are working on promoting their own books and education positions, respectively, and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] [/lastfm]is making cars.

Like literally. The tech-sensed musician has always had a hand in some sort of new technology whether it be musically or even more nerdy, like serving as the creative director for IT giants, Intel. His newest venture, IAMAUTO looks to not only bring in more money for himself but help out his fellow man in the process.

“I’m a big technology freak and geek and I invested my money in building my own vehicle because I want to bring jobs to the ghetto that I come from, so why not invest?” he said on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show. “Like I invested in making a demo to start the Black Eyed Peas, we did that, now I want to invest to have a car company in the neighborhood that I come from.”

The first car he’s working on looks a lot like a two-door coupe sports car, but underneath it’s just a fancy Chrysler.

“I went to Chrysler and got a whole bunch of parts to where it’s still certified as a legal vehicle on the streets,” he affirmed. “So I don’t really mess with the airbag configurations or things like that. Kept the chassis and we create the shell, which is the body and the interior and the audio interface.”

Of course, in keeping with hip hop trends, Will decides to give Dre’s boost a stock by installing Beats audio in his new ride. “I got Beats audio, it’s sick, it’s really fresh,” Will said.

Well, we are down for giving it a test spin. Any takers? I bet this car is the hardest ever…

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Chris Brown [/lastfm]has been working on his new album FORTUNE for quite sometime now. In fact, he declared that some of the deleted tracks from his current album, F.A.M.E. would still get their shine and be featured on FORTUNE. Well just days ago, Breezy tweeted the end was near for his newest album.

[photogallerylink id=107308 align=right]Though Chris Brown won’t be talking to reporters much this year, he does have plans to let his music do the talking for him. “LAST TWO WEEKS of me finishing FORTUNE! I’m excited for all the fans to hear my real music,” he tweeted.

According to blogger-site JustJared, C. Brown also wrote “Dub step records on my album sounding crazy!!!!” but that Tweet has since been deleted. Perhaps he didn’t want to spoil the secret, or perhaps the tracks didn’t end up making the cut. Regardless, we are patiently awaiting Chris’s new music.

He’s already released a couple tracks suspected to be on the album including “Strip” “Mona Lisa” and “International Love,” which features [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Pitbull[/lastfm].

CB is also working on his new dance movie, “Planet B-Boy”, which we will keep you posted on.

Keep an eye out for Brown at the Grammy’s, he’s rumored to be performing. And yes, this is his first time at the big show since the drama with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Rihanna[/lastfm] first broke a few years ago.

Look at him now!

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Snoop Dogg[/lastfm] has already had quite an eventful 2012. The hip hop veteran has been keeping current by agreeing to headline Coachella with his OG pal, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Dr. Dre[/lastfm], ushered in the new year with The Price Is Right and Drew Carey, and after getting arrested in Texas, of all places, for possession of marijuana, the Doggfather is launching his own brand of cigars.

The cigars, entitled, Executive Branch, are not actually Snoop’s brain child, but something he encountered while traveling and was so impressed it compelled him to bring the tobacco line to his fans in the states.

[photogallerylink id=135642 align=left]”Throughout my career I have been lucky enough to travel the world and try all different types of tobacco products. During my travels throughout South America and the Caribbean, I was fortunate to encounter this tobacco company, Executive Branch and was so impressed by their commitment to quality [far superior than all others], I knew I had to bring them to the States for all my fans to enjoy…,” he said in a statement.

Snoop plans to unveil his new product at his Coachella gig later this year and has a whole line of products scheduled to come out throughout the year. “Throughout 2012, we plan on releasing new styles and flavors, in which I will be working with their team to make sure all products are up to Snoop Dogg standards.”

Being that Snoop has built an empire on his love for the cannabis, something tells us that his word is law when it comes to these matters.

You can grab a pouch of 2 for only $.99. Economical. We like.
