So it’s that time of the week again! Just in time for your TGIF celebrations, McCabe and The Phone-Ops (maybe that should be our band name…but I digress) are bringing you the hottest music that already happened!

We have been brewing over this one for the past week and when we found out that [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Christina Aguilera[/lastfm] had received a Grammy nod last night for her involvement in [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Maroon 5[/lastfm]’s “Moves Like Jagger,” it was only fitting that she be awarded this week’s honor as the Throwback of the week!

This was one of those songs that your parents had no problems with you listening to until they became privy to the lyrics.

This usually happened driving to or from somewhere with them, you singing every lyric buckled up in the backseat or passenger side (I don’t presume to know your life). Them at the wheel, nodding to the beat trying to sing along to the few words they knew…

“Come on over, come on over, baby…/(All I want is you)/Come over here baby/(All I want is you)/You make me go crazy/(All I want is you)/Now baby don’t be shy/You better cross the line/I’m gonna love you right/(All I want is you)”

And then it hits them, “This song is kind of dirty!” If you ask us, it makes it all the better.

But luckily the video, designed to inspire the TRL audience, was full of colors, hair highlights, risqué choreography, and stairs leading to nowhere…I mean this video really goes there!

Don’t even get me started the confetti and shiny fabric backgrounds.

I’m getting giddy just talking about it. Please! Enjoy!
