Our very own morning show host Carson is a huge fan [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Heavy D[/lastfm] and was devastated to hear of his passing.

I saw him backstage at “The Voice” when we did our live shows in June and me and Cee Lo and Adam, you know, we all grew up huge fans of Heavy D and we all just surrounded him. We were late walking to set and we all just sort of stopped for a second like, “Heavy D! Oh my god, what’s up, dude?” We gave him a lot of love. He was there, just kind of hanging out and he was so positive and I loved him so much.
