Twilight, like it or hate it, the soundtracks have been pretty awesome. By now you’ve heard AMP play “It Will Rain” by Bruno Mars which is featured in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I but there’s another song off the album that I wanted to share with you. Christina Perri is one of my personal favorites and especially considering how romantic this next installment on the series is rumored to be, you’ll fall in love with this week’s pick. No bite marks needed.

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Christina Perri[/lastfm] is most known for her song “Jar of Hearts” which became famous after it was featured on So You Think You Can Dance. I remember she stopped by to chat with Carson Daly a long time ago and he totally called it. She has amazing talent and it’s great to see her success. I was lucky enough to catch her at the Wiltern this past summer. Her CD Lovestrong is out now and definitely one of the best of 2011. Get it if you’re into the female singer-songwriter type and like songs that are more lyrically driven.

This tattooed lady is back in a beautiful music video for her song “A Thousand Years” which I mentioned is featured on the latest Twilight soundtrack. How much do you wanna bet people start using this song in their weddings? Not sure if it’ll play during the movie at all but I wouldn’t be surprised. Maybe during Edward and Bella’s wedding? Wanna see if it will be? You know… we ARE giving away tickets to our advanced screening. Like that segway? I practice. Here’s another.

Enjoy this week’s pick by Miss Perri, and as a bonus watch my exclusive interview with her from earlier this year.
