What?! A guy can’t be sensitive too? Get out of town! If you love yourself a sensitive man, then gather ’round my boy [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Drake[/lastfm]. Despite critics, Drake remains true to his “emo” side.

[photogallerylink id=113463 align=left]If you pay attention to the blogosphere, Drake gets put down a lot for being too open and emotional in his music. Some guys call him soft, other call him whiny, Drake just brushes it off and insists this is the legacy he wants to leave, “If I worried about how I’m gonna look saying this, then I wouldn’t make half the music I make,” Drake told reporters. “People nitpick at me for being emotional or tapping into emotions, but like, man, we all die one day; that’s just how I want to be remembered.”

In fact Drizzy prefers his sound to stand alone. Through songs like his breakout hit, “Best I Ever Had,” up to this year’s “Marvin’s Room,,” which examines an alcohol induced stream of conscious that interrogates an Ex about her current boyfriend, Drake is known for letting his feelings hang on his sleeve.

But its these emotions that Drake is trying to really explore in his music, “I don’t want to be a guy that blends in with all the other generic rap music. I want to be the guy that stood out and pinpointed life emotions for women, men, young people, old people or whatever it is.”

As for the haters, Drizzy isn’t worried about them, “The running commentary or the jokes don’t really affect me, ’cause that’s what I’m going for… So I don’t trip, that’s what I want. I welcome it.”

And I welcome your new album; Take Care should be out November 15th. Does anyone have a tissue? I can feel the tears welling up already.

After releasing her sexy yet tormented video for “We Found Love,” which depicts a sort of a Sid and Nancy, love addicted couple dancing the night away into decadence, Roc Nation first Lady, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Rihanna[/lastfm] also revealed the name and idea of her newest fragrance, Rebelle.

You remember her first fragarance Reb’l Fleur asked takers to choose between the rebel and flower inside of them? Well, Rebelle makes it’s choice. The bold new scent from the Barbadian princess will be the first of two fragrances that don’t ask for a decision, but deliver answers and thus explores the duality of both Rihanna and those who choose the scent.

Rebelle is also the name Ri-Ri’s grandmother used to call her and is meant to explore the singers mysterious and sensual side. “My new fragrance is about taking control but still being a lady. There’s a feminine, romantic element to the fragrance — but there’s also a defiant quality in it,” Rihanna explains of the product, “I love its duality.”

The marketing aims to encompass her daring and dramatic aspects while maintaining her vulnerability. She aims to empower women as well as men. And this motif of strength shining through objects we see as weak pervades through every part of the scent. Even the bottle exemplifies the theme, Rebelle‘s bottle is inspired by the stiletto heel.  It features a twisting, crimson ribbon design topped by a golden layered red cap that again displays duality in a single object. Basically, it looks hot.

And it smells good to boot, it smells “Somewhat exotic and musky, the notes include coffee beans, amber and a hint of vanilla,” that sounds like a spring afternoon. I’m curious. Are you?

Rebelle by Rihanna hits department stores in Spring 2012. Are you seeing double yet?

With [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]T.I.[/lastfm] sprung from the big house and then from the halfway house, he has been hustling and then hustling some more. Maybe that’s why he calls his label Grand Hustle, it’s in his blood.

The Kang of the South already has tracks and features permeating the airwaves, and as of very recently his very first novel is in book stores everywhere. The street-based novel is a love story. “Power and Beauty: A Story of Life on The Streets” is officially out as of Tuesday October 19th.

This isn’t T.I.’s only writing project though, he recently revealed that he has already finished the sequel to his novel and working on the third installment.

But really the icing here is the project he has planned with his dedicated wife, Tiny. The two have plans to write a relationship self-help book for couples everywhere, “Tameka and I, we looking to do [a] his and her relationship book, how to get right and keep it tight,” he said.

I’m sure they plan to let us in on how they have stayed so in love and devoted over the years, trials, tribulations, prison sentences, you know, the usual relationship issues. So grab a partner and cuddle up for this read, we wouldn’t want anything to get loose.
