Beyonce has proven that girls rule the world already so now she has her musical sights set on the good ol’ U.S. of A. The pop diva has released an official studio version of the new song on iTunes with all proceeds going to charity.

All the money raised from the sales online will go to the New York Police and Fire Widows & Children Fund. Beyonce premiered the song on CNN, giving this statement on her reasons for releasing the track:

“I cannot think about anything more appropriate to do to help these families. Almost 10 years (after 9/11), it is still so painful for all Americans, especially those who lost loved ones. We were all affected by the tragedies of 9/11 and continue to keep the families who lost loved ones close to our hearts.”

To be perfectly honest, this inspirational track helps me forget about her latest song and should remind us all that Beyonce can still put out classy music.
