[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Willow Smith[/lastfm] is a busy  ten-year-old. While she’s not “Whipping Her Hair” back ‘n forth with her musical partner-in-crime, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Justin Bieber[/lastfm], Smith is creating shining, towering cities from sand and bones while running with wolves.

Or at least that’s the impression this ‘tween superstar is trying to convey in her dramatic video for new single, “21st Century Girl.”

We see an old woman in a desert and judging by the Joshua Trees (and common sense), it’s the Mojave Desert.  The woman does a crazy spell over a pelvic bone, putting knick knacks like butterflies and a guitar into the sand.  Out of this nothingness appears Willow Smith dressed like a modern day sand warrior.

What ensues is what could be seen as the evolutionary history of Los Angeles–sped up for the purpose of dramatic effect. Smith and her sassy young friends run through the desert (with wolves), pulling bits of modernity and technology out of the ground, or as the lyrics say “pull gold from my soul; Pull diamonds from my heart.”

She even goes so far as talking chains to pull up a whole entire city–Los Angeles.

Honestly, we are surprised Willow Smith hasn’t exploded over the last couple of months since “Whip My Hair.” She has a stellar voice, the songwriting is on point, and she has unique style.

Someone in her camp must be holding back on her noteriety on purpose because of her age.

But one thing can’t be denied: This little Warriorette has pure star potential.
