WOW, the Oscars were, well…the Oscars.

I was tweeting away all night, from the minute the red carpet started at the 83rd Annual Academy Award ceremony until the bitter end.

Were there really any surprises? Everyone knew Natalie Portman, Colin Firth, and The King’s Speech would all win.

But just didn’t know exactly how it would unfold, which is where Twitter came in handy!

And how about Anne Hathaway and James Franco? Did you love them or loathe them? I thought they started off cute but then it got old quickly.

I generally like Anne Hathaway but thought she was a little too “cute” for an affair as formal as the Oscars. BUT, I know she was there to bring a younger element to the show and she did do that.

James Franco, well he stood there and looked a little hot and a lot stoned. (allegedly?) At times I felt like poor Anne was tap dancing and entertaining her little heart out to compensate for her lack of a co-host.

The fashion didn’t blow me away either. I didn’t really “oooh and ahhh” until Penelope Cruz showed up in a saucy red dress that showed off her SLAMMIN body – she just and I mean JUST had a baby and still looked amazing.  She was quite slim but not bony.

Love seeing celebs look healthy and normal and not emaciated.  Most of the dresses were pretty, but not anything I was swooning over.
