Last week, Trends took a look at which nominee for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance would likely walk away with a Grammy. Today it’s the turn of the boys.

If Lady Gaga is this year’s queen of the Grammys, who’s going to be her king?

It’s worth noting up front that if all of the listeners to the five nominees for Best Male Pop Vocal got together they’d still be 75,700 short of the total currently giving “Bad Romance” a spin.

Michael Jackson gets a posthumous nomination for “Is This It,” reflecting the impact the former King of Pop’s death has had on the musical landscape. But it’s at the bottom of the pile for listeners.

John Mayer‘s a little behind too, paving the way for a showdown between Micheal Bublé, Bruno Mars and Adam Lambert.

When it comes to total plays, Bublé’s supporters are less fervent than the other two, lending him around half the plays of Lambert’s 1,869,119. But Lambert’s popularity has been waning recently.

You can find out if we’re right on February 13th when CBS broadcasts the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards. Meanwhile discover who else is being tipped by Trends over the next two weeks by following Trends’ Grammy coverage.
