[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]B.o.B[/lastfm] has blown up huge in 2010, with big radio hits, big names on his guest list ([lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Weezer[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Hayley Williams[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Bruno Mars[/lastfm]) and big performances, like opening for [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Eminem[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jay-Z[/lastfm]. Now, he closes the year in a big way with No Genre, a brand new mixtape!

The tape can be downloaded here (Warning: Lots of naughty language). A quick rundown:

  • The first “single,” a track called “Beast Mode,” sees [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]B.o.B[/lastfm] mad for some reason but also establishes [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Bobby Ray[/lastfm] as a rapper, and not just a guy talking between catchy hooks.
  • The tape features three [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]T.I.[/lastfm] appearances, along with a track produced by [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kanye West[/lastfm] and one from Dr. Luke, hitmaker for [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Britney Spears[/lastfm], amongst others.
  • Check out the song “Batman Flow,” featuring fellow ATLien [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Donnis[/lastfm], who might be a big name sooner than you think.

Props to [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]B.o.B[/lastfm], it must be said, for not forgetting where he came from. He caught the world’s attention with three independent mix tapes released online long before “Nothing On You,” and now, after having made it, still gives the fans something for nothing.
