What do you get when you take away [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Ke$ha[/lastfm]’s outrageous outfits and body glitter? For the answer, you’ll have to check out the December 7th issue of Complex Magazine.

As we all know, Ke$ha can be a bit fashionably challenged so Complex Magazine decided to make the singer over and the results have her looking more like a pop princess with a rock ‘n’ roll edge.

Besides the interesting images, Ke$ha also talks about the misconceptions concerning her look in a revealing interview with Complex writer Joe La Puma, saying:

I was trying to look superhot.  I like to poke fun when people make fun of me because I don’t take myself that seriously. People say I’m ‘garbage chic’ so I thought I’d take it to the next level and make a garbage bag super f***ing chic—and I succeeded!

Complex, not quite known for their hard-hitting journalism, also asked the pop star about the weirdest place she’s ever put glitter. Her answer: “You name it, there’s been glitter there.”

Let’s just leave it at that.

A while back [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Rihanna[/lastfm] not only dissed her BFF [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Katy Perry[/lastfm], but also took a jab at Ke$ha when she said she didn’t want to make a “generic pop record like Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, or Katy Perry.”

When Complex asked her about this, Ke$ha claimed to have never heard of the remark and continued:

I’m so used to the media flipping my words around that I’m sure she meant absolutely no offense to me or Katy or Gaga. Rihanna and me are totally cool; we were just on tour together and I know that she and Katy are good friends. I don’t take any offense because I’m sure it’s bullshit anyway.”

So, what do you think of Ke$ha’s new look for Complex? Would you like to see her like this more often or do you prefer her in all her glitter glory?
