Justin Bieber Gets Bullied

How widespread is bullying? Canadian megastar [lastfm]Justin Bieber[/lastfm] faced it himself last week at a laser tag facility in his home country…and he’s [lastfm]JUSTIN BIEBER[/lastfm].

The Biebs was playing laser tag in Richmond, Canada last Friday when players on the other team ganged up on him, a no-no in terms of the unspoken rules of laser tag. When he asked them to stop, one of the kids on the other team called him an offensive slur often connected to homosexuality.

From there, bodyguards got involved, an overbearing dad started yelling about lawsuits, and now the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (yes, the MOUNTIES!) have said that Bieber was not in any way at fault for the confrontation.

In addition, after feeling the brunt of bullying, Bieber wants to lend his voice to one of the current anti-bully campaigns.

Will this mean a [lastfm]Justin Bieber[/lastfm] “It Gets Better” video? It’s got to be better than this Biebs clip:

Left on it’s own, things don’t necessarily “Get Better” for LGBT youth facing bullying. The point is to fight to Make it Better and Stop Homophobia.
