Listen, it’s 2010. [lastfm]Miley Cyrus[/lastfm] is no longer Hannah Montana; she’s naughty, sultry, and seventeen. Get over it, Disney! So, “who owns her heart?” Is it her 6-year-old fans with Hannah Montana posters on their ceilings to lull them to sleep, or is it a foxy 20-year-old jock impatiently waiting for Cyrus to become legal?

If we take the message seriously from Cyrus’ new music video, “Who Owns My Heart,” then it doesn’t matter whether you are old, young, male or female because “sometimes it’s hard to tell in the dark/who owns my heart.”

In “Who Owns My Heart,” Miley Cyrus stares at the camera like a panther on the prowl, squirms around in a sequined halter top, looking for her next fleshy feast on the dark dance floor. Haters will exclaim, “She’s seventeen! This is totally age inappropriate!”

For the record, it’s boring that people make a big deal out of Miley Cyrus “trying” to be sexy. She is never overly provocative and c’mon–she’s seventeen. A couple of centuries ago she would have already have been married off for a dowry and would be raising two kids on her farm.

Like she says in her song, “creation shows me what to do.” Creation i.e. biology. Biologically speaking, Cyrus is a teenage hottie with matching hormones. That’s just science. Don’t try to control it!

Let the little girl have her fun before old age sets in.

This SONG AND VIDEO both SUCK! I understand that she wants to grow up, and I don’t care. But this is just terrible material all around.
