T.I. And Nelly Got Each Other's Back

Never one to let a little scandalous publicity, a recent arrest, or hardcore drug possession get him down, [lastfm]T.I.[/lastfm] swaggered up to the mic in an Atlanta nightclub and did what he does best (other than get arrested): dropped a dope rhyme. Hopefully, [lastfm]T.I.[/lastfm]’s first public appearance didn’t include rhyming “doped up” and when [lastfm]Nelly[/lastfm] joined the mix it wasn’t “getting hot in here” because the po-po were about to swarm the stage. Enough of that already, Tip. Before the press ripped [lastfm]T.I.[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Tiny [/lastfm]apart, [lastfm]Tiny[/lastfm]’s attitude was a lot less abrasive and a lot more sweetly optimistic. She tweeted her gratitude to supporters:

Jus wanted 2say thank u 2every1 dats been leaving encouraging msgs & prayers! We love u guys:) going 2bed now! So glad 2b n a nice clean bed.

However, that bed didn’t stay “clean” for very long. Like they say, when you make your bed, you have to lie in it. The aftermath of being arrested for narcotics possession has really put a damper on [lastfm]Tiny[/lastfm]’s sheep counting.

[lastfm]T.I.[/lastfm] might be trying to downplay (and yet, subconsciously validate) wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle’s enraged Twitter rant where she spouted “U da real dummy cause u believe everything u hear!” to a Perez Hilton fan; [lastfm]T.I.[/lastfm] dusted his shoulders off and punched out two of his most infamous hater-bashing tracks, “Motivation” and “U Don’t Know Me.”

I’m gonna keep a flossy popping long as to is on the beat/Tell police that I ain’t stopping I’mma keep it in the streets/…you don’t know me.
